'11 HI DE Lake Koa Kaai (Signed to Oregon)

Nice to see cabral in his home already and that he has already been to the campus.

Read somewhere that he was a Nebraska lean, but NU will only take one DE and they are still waiting on a Cali Juco, Joseph Carter, an early Arizona commit who visited NU on 11/26 (CU game).

From Rivals regarding an in-home from NU assistant with Carter:
"He told us, first thing, is he guarantees that I'd get my degree. Then, he talked about my chances for playing time, and that if I come in and do the right things, and put in the work, that I'd be playing on Sunday."

Just show up Joe, go to a class now and then and we will get you a degree.....

They probably told Lake that it's really nice weather in Lincoln, no bugs, the girls aren't fat, and there's a whole bunch to do.

Lake has tried to commit to NU but is on hold pending Carter's decision. I think you end up with him. We need a guy able to play immediately.

Anyone who WANTS to go to NU ain't right in the head and should be immediately subject to a federally mandated psychiatric evaluation.

FYI he has already been to Boulder before and the CU coaches have been out to Hawaii multiple times this year. I guess he felt like he has all the info needed to make a choice.

**** LINCOLN. Maybe the other hawaiin kids will persuade him. There are plenty of other de's out there still.

I'm in Hawaii, and I work with teachers at Kamehameha...anything I can do to help? It really is crazy that a Hawaiian could want to go to Nebraska. Not a single person I now or went to school with did . . .

Show him pictures of Lincoln vs Boulder, that should sway him.
