'12 CO FB Gus Sawicki

Gus only had a few carries in the blowout win against Dakota Ridge, but was an absolute monster as a blocking FB. By the 2nd quarter the LB and OLBs were dodging him rather than taking him on.

would be a really good PWO candidate.
^^This^^

He keeps his weight down for wrestling. Once in college could very easily go to 220+. If he could do so it might give us a legit back-up FB freeing Norgard or Powell (likely Norgard) to compete full-time at another position. Also could be a significant contributor on STs which has been a weak point for us since GB left town.

Is he an all-state type wrestler that he could get picked up on schollie for wrestling?

Not good enough to pick up a schollie most likely. I checked the rankings and didn't find him listed. Looks like he is wrestling 182 which would be a fit for a guy who is around 200 outside of wrestling season.

Not a lot of wrestling schollies around, lots of schools have cut the sport because of title 9 issues and the number of schollies available at the ones that still have it are reduced as well. To get one even at a D2 school a kid needs to be pretty highly ranked.
