definitely not that. Tustin HS is in the central OC. Abuts Irvine, Santa Ana and Orange. A lot of top kids play for Mater Dei in Santa Ana (private), and Tustin probably doesn't get a lot of notice, but they are not exactly out of the picture either. They play a pretty high level schedule, they just don't turn out D1 football players all that often. They play in the Empire league with Yorba Linda and Cypress.

As a side note, when I was out there, their star basketball player was ESPN's Doug Gottlieb.
