Same here. I am hoping HCMM is concerned about the depth at TE, which is reasonable.Ya hopefully this doesn't mean Hobbs is gone
Sounds like we're in good position, but it would be smart to lock this down ASAP.
Interestingly, Moeai was a 6'0" 190 lb TE coming out of high school. He redshirted at the JUCO and hit a growth spurt. He's grown over 3 inches and added about 40 pounds to his frame in the past 2 years.

"...he is hearing from Ole Miss, South Florida, Utah State, Arizona State, Oregon State, Western Michigan and Rutgers."
:rolling_eyes:It took him 2 years to gain 40 lbs? That's no big deal, Tini tells me that Shane Dillon is going to gain 30 lbs this summer.
Utah per the twitter world. Another casualty from stupid JC admission standards....
Is that literally what caused us to miss out on him? If so, ****.
It's killing us with several guys. They can go to USC, Cal, Utah, Syracuse... no problem. But they've got to commit to taking extra coursework over this summer if they want to come to CU.
So how..and why is this happeneing? Does the school NOT want us to be competitive? How can they expect us to complete if they hold us at a disadvantage?
What we really need is for an in-state community college to step up with athletic programs. CU has that deal of automatically accepting in-state juco coursework. I think we have a couple CO jucos that play hoops (not great ones, but they play), but I don't think any play football.
Exactly the requirements are the same as the general student body.My understanding is that it's not active obstruction from Admissions. It's more a case of CU not offering or crediting a lot of courses. For example, CU has about half the number of majors as UCLA. There is no General Studies or Physical Education, for example.

Agreed.As they should be.
