Re: '14 CA SF Cameron Walker

I love seeing a huge offer list and thinking that there are only a few programs that are better.

Compton Magic has been good to CU: Spencer Dinwiddie and Xavier Johnson.
[strike]Well, the other news is that this basically confirms that the coaching staff believes Spencer is going pro despite the injury.[/strike] Very excited about this recruit though. we need a scorer.
(buffnik thread creation fail!!)

Booker was compton magic, xj and dinwiddie were double pump

I knew I should have checked that instead of relying on my memory. Thanks and Rep.

Wasn't Compton Magic where Damiene Cain & Shannon Sharpe played? I want to say there's a lot of recent CU hoops history and Sharpe got it started.

Unrelated. I ****ed up the thread title. Typo (now fixed). He's 2015. Sorry.

Yeah Cain and Sharpe played for Compton Magic

I am by no-means an evaluator of bball prospects, but watching a few videos he's clearly a Tad guy, he's long, athletic and moves really well. He also seems to finish really well around the rim in traffic and after contact.

We also have reports on the www of 6-7 and 6-8. HEIGHT CONTROVERSY!

Kid lives down the street from my parents. I'll ask him when I'm up there next

Sorta. I'm seeing UofA, Florida, UCLA, and San Diego State which would take a bit of an upset to be chosen over. Then throw in Cal which you could argue either way but very formidable competition nonetheless. Always wondered why schools like Northern AZ even waste their energy. Is it just to have their name associated with a top prospect?

Maybe he wants to go into hotel/resort management?

Did Cameron visit this weekend? I walked past him or a kid similar to him at the game last night. Had bleached blonde semi-Mohawk. Seemed like 6'7"ish, and was getting love as if he was a recruit.

Not sure if he was here or not, but Stanford and Cal were watching him on Friday night

The UCLA 247 reporter predicted him signing with CU, all other predictions are for Stanford. In general not sure to what degree these 247 predictions are pure conjecture vs. being based on substantive info.

Definitely a good sign if Nieves has predicted that.

New Rivals article by RK:

"Yeah I think [I will trip out to Boulder], probably sometime after August," he told. "I'm not sure [where else I will trip] yet, after the live period in July, I'll pick five out of the eight that I want to visit and make those my top five."

This one is looking good, folks.

Now #50 ranked player in the nation by Rivals and claims he is up to 6'7". Monster recruit.
