'16 AZ ATH Mason Moran (Verbal to Oregon State)

Beavs moved quick to lock down Moran once Noyer chose CU.Offer at OSU, as mentioned, is purely for QB (Buffs liked at S but we're willing to give a chance at QB).I suppose this means we don't have to worry about OSU coming back at Noyer.

Just a feeling but I think Noyer is the kind of kid that once he commits isn't going to waver. I don't think that OSU would appeal to him much now anyways. Bigger concern is if one of the heavier hitters decide to come after him. With a smaller number of QB prospects in the west this year if somebody loses a commit to injury Noyer could become a focus.

So many assumptions, so little time...

Why I started with just a feeling.

We do know that the number of QB prospects on the west coast is down this year though. If Noyer has a solid senior season and some of the higher profile teams have their QB targets drop off due to injury or other reasons they could very well come calling.

Anderson at OSU is a very good coach but people act like he is some super recruiter. He isn't Saban or Meyer yet.

OK, is it safe for me to say, now, that he looks a bit like Alfred E. Newman?

Chandler and Bishop Gorman are playing on ESPN right now.

Moran is playing QB for Chandler if you care to watch.
