'17 AZ TE Jared Poplawski (Signed to COLORADO)

ASU Rivals wrote last summer that he is a good blocker and needs work on his receiving. Looks a good fit for the offense CU is running.

Looks like Sami. This guy would be a great get with or without Falo. Vertical threat who can run really well.

Poplawski said his grandfather Jim Poplawski was a tight end on the ASU roster under legendary coaches Dan Devine and Frank Kush. Six decades later, he'll play the same position for the same school.
But the family connection goes much deeper than that.
Poplawski's great-grandfather Donn Kinzle coached track at ASU and was the school's athletic director starting in 1949. Kinzle was partly responsible for ASU's nickname change from Bulldogs to Sun Devils.
Poplawski's father also went to ASU
He'd be a 4th generation ASU attendee. Per above Scout article.

Wife's cousin plays football at Desert Mountain against this kid. Asked him what he thinks and was told he is a beast. Big frame, hard to bring down, but he has had some injury stuff with knee. Super excited to see this kind of recruit.
