'17 CA PF Tyler Bey (Signed to COLORADO)

So in Tad's system does Bey play the 3 & 4, sort of like XJ only with a slighter build :). And the same for Strating, the Dutch kid?

The 3 guys I've seen him compared to: Dre Roberson, Shawn Marion & Kawhi Leonard. So, basically, you put him on the court on the wing for offense & let him slash to the hoop. On defense, he can guard 1-5. I suspect that it will be a lot like Dre's progression under Tad. As a frosh, probably playing mostly in a 4 role and then seeing that develop to where he's doing a whole lot of things.

So initially he won't have much of a perimeter game? But he'll use his athleticism to get to the rim and defend?

That's what I'm thinking. Supposedly he took a step forward with his shot this summer (17/11 guy in summer league), so maybe I'm being too cautious in my optimism.

I absolutely love this guy. THE glue guy in the 2017 recruiting class nationally. Defense. Rebounding. Team basketball. Winning basketball. Perfect Tad guy.

Second this. He's my favorite recruit of this cycle. I love his game.

The future looks very bright!! Tad is bringing in talent. Let's hope King and Miller improve this year. Looks like we'll be VERY deep in 17-18 if Peters is as advertised. Good day to be a Buff!

My God, with all of the wings we have coming in I keep finding myself forgetting about King - our second leading scorer last year who will probably be fighting White for the scoring lead this year. Brining in wings who can defend and distribute helps King too as he can now focus on just lighting fools up.

Shooting is teachable skill. What this guy brings is a lot of things that can't be taught.

Not a Dre but a guy who is comparable in that he can defend bigger players and has the quickness to defend smaller players.

Most importantly he looks like a guy who doesn't need to be convinced to work at defense and fight for rebounds. He looks like a really good fit for what Tad wants to do on both ends of the court.

I'm guessing a majority of the recruiting pitch was come to CU and be the next Andre Roberson. I'm stoked this kid wants to be a Buff. Great pick up.

I'm honored you thought of me, makes me feel all fuzzy inside.

As I mentioned on the Schwartz page, I'm ready to eat some crow.

Very, very impressive pair of recruits.

Still happy you think of me that much.

All in good fun. You are an easy target as am I pretty often.

Some list Bey as 6'8. Hoping he grows a few more inches by the time he arrives on campus. A 6'9/6'10 Bey with a great shooting touch would be amazing.
