Yep. For instance, there are a few of CU's late targets who are announcing on Feb 1 so they can have the hat ceremony at their school but they're letting CU & our competitors know the decision a day or three before that.
Is it ever truly a surprise for a school on signing day?
I'm sure there are surprises. Probably nowhere near as many as we think, though.
Damn. Shame he chose to go visit SDSU instead of CU that last weekend. Any DB with a commitable offer from MSU is worth a take for CU at this point, IMO, especially a Safety.
