This is disappointing. Interested in CU in a big way and they were't able to close on him. Calloway just became an even bigger priority.

I can tell you without a doubt that Alex was very interested in playing for CU. On Calloway becoming a bigger priority that was pure speculation.
We know. CU "not being able to close him" is the incorrect part.
The problem wasn't with the Buffs being able to close him though.

What people are saying is it was the Buffs who quit recruiting him. He probably would have accepted the offer if we had wanted him.

Understood. I only knew from Alex' side not CU's. Just wonder why they quit recruiting him? Whatever the reason was I trust the coaches that they made the correct call.

Oh wow that's incredibly small for a DB. Especially when you're going up against guys that are regularly 6'0" and up.
Small 4 Star CB's... Hum. I recall one named Yuri something or another. I think we dodged a bullet here. Bolden was the real target all along.
