Someone is going to give him a second chance. Obviously our coaches would do their due diligence, but depending on what the issue was, I’d like to see CU take a little bit of a risk and add a player as talented as Bolden.
Hmmm, Idk, 2 year suspension looks pretty bad.

No official reason has been given for the "university matter" but USCFootball.com has written about it in several War Room posts.

In addition to Bolden, USC also saw veteran Ykili Ross opt for a graduate transfer before the season started and redshirt freshman Isaiah Pola-Mao – who started in place of Bolden – go down with a season-ending shoulder injury. USC is down to Tell, redshirt sophomore C.J. Pollard and freshman Talanoa Hufanga, who has started the last two games. USC has also moved over four-star cornerback Chase Williams to safety to help with the depth issues.
