'17 TX OG Xavier Newman (Signed to Baylor)

"Edit"= picture of the athlete with a CU uniform photoshopped to appear as if the athlete is already a Buff.

The guy he requested an edit from does not look like a fan of a specific school. Many of the edits he does are for a players top school choices. Below is an example. I don't think we are out of this yet.

The unknowing. Seen it before

Edit. He was asking for an edit. Seeing those "huh" responses is similar to the article about the mbb
Down level

Gawd.

"No offense" has to be "Mighty Buff" under a new profile. Same horrible sentence structure, punctuation, and incoherent posts.
He's not going to CU, it'd be an edit for another school.

Why are you so sure? No sarcasm, just legitimately curious what makes you think that. A lot of guys decommit, then recommit. I know the being close to the family thing is the leading factor, but maybe the family will change their mind? Maybe they just wanted him to take a step back and re-think it? Obviously that's 100% speculation, but I don't think it's any different than thinking he's definitely gone (unless you're privy to Twitter stuff I don't know, because you definitely are "The Twitter Whisperer").

How often does a recruit decommit then recommit to the same school? It doesn't happen often.

I think the only hope is that he does actually want to go to Colorado but his family is pressuring him not to. Maybe he wins out in the end?

Parents need to let their boy become a man on his own. It will pay off in life.
You would think. But I can also understand parents wanting to have their child close to them and be able to see their games. I would never force my child to go somewhere but I would definitely give him my input to, let's say go to CU over an out of state school. Ultimately, it is just a tricky situation. Chev seemed to have gotten X's mom on board on the official visit but apparently over time that has eroded.

I'm totally brainwashing my kids to believe CU is the best option for them, but I would never insist they go there over another school.

It would be great to get Newman back in the fold. Maybe once we lock down Nixon and Shenault, they will help recruit him back.
