'17 TX RB Alex Fontenot (Signed to COLORADO)

FYI:

George Ranch is the defending Texas 5A state champions. In last year's title game, they won by a score of 56-0. Fontenot scored 3 TDs in the title game. He split carries as the 2nd back last season, with a 4* who signed with TCU. Fontenot will be RB1 this year, building on his 1,400+ yd season with 21 TDs.

Expect him to absolutely blow up this fall as one of the top RBs in the west.

Spoke with George Ranch head coach Ricky Tullos. Sounds like there will be no restrictions on carries and touches for Fontenot. Also sounds like the RB will put up huge numbers this fall. Story filed to Adam, I'll post the link when it's live.

“Good hands, does everything we ask him to do in the protection game and blocking. We get him out in routes, he executes. Put the ball in his hands he puts it in the end zone.”
