'18 CA ATH Devon Williams

That's pathetic. I hate Oregon so bad. Wish Nike would go the way of Enron and implode overnight just to see the ducks fail.

Unfortunately, Phil Knight is worth $29 billion. When he goes, it isn't beyond the realm of possibility that he bequeaths Oregon athletics with, oh, 1/28th of that.

All signs point to Oregon here.
Prophetic

Two days after Oregon State University announced the 6-foot-4, 210-pound wide receiver was set to transfer to Corvallis and officially added him to the roster, Williams announced his commitment to Oregon:

Sources indicate Williams signed paperwork at Oregon State on Wednesday. He was formally announced as a part of the football program and added to the roster by 5 p.m.

But by Thursday afternoon, he was in Los Angeles and sources close to the star athlete indicated he was still weighing his options.

“(His recruitment) isn’t over,” said a source close to Williams on Thursday evening.

Williams committed to Oregon on Friday afternoon and his name has been removed from the Oregon State roster.

To clarify, Williams signed with USC. This September he announced his intention to transfer, and apparently signed some paperwork to transfer to Oregon State in Corvallis, but now appears to have changed his mind and will head to Oregon.
