No CU offer yet. Chev recruiting with an assist from Chidera.

He's part of Tracy Ford's program who we've mentioned before as a McChesney type outfit in Washington. He has brought guys down for visits and seems to have a good relationship with our coaches even if we haven't had any of his guys commit to us.

I would expect a few other guys to come on the visit with him if Ford comes too.

Don't trust his potential position coach?

That is the key question. That is why it would be good to see an offer from EWU, WSU, and/or UW where his potential positional coach will be the most dialed in to the in-state talent. EWU just had a WR drafted in the 3rd round of the NFL draft, the WR coach there knows talent. UW had a WR drafted #9 in the 1st round, the WR coach there knows talent.

The offers seem strange with that height, bulk, and speed. His hands seem decent (of course they do on a highlight tape), so who knows? Barring some unknown issue (I doubt academics are an issue due to that Cornell offer), I think he'd be a great pickup.

I wonder where he sits on our board and if they try to close him today. Also wonder if UCLA or USC extend an offer... Also, Rivals shows him at 19 offers, including Utah.

Arias is high on CU's board and they are trying to close on him in the near future, but are only likely to take one receiver, two at the most, this cycle. And they're in on some others (e.g. Porter and Stanley). Arias was dealing with a bit of a hamstring injury but I was impressed with him at yesterday's camp. Gets in and out of his breaks well, good hands, slim but can handle some physicalness. Solid prospect.
