OC & QB coach Jay Johnson has followed Baldwin for a while because Georgia had been recruiting him.

Hopefully it means something that 3 of our commits (Huffman-Dixon, Luckett & Mangham) have recently started following.

Of note: his 2 OVs were 11/30 to Indiana (haven't signed a QB but accepted a transfer) and 12/7 Mizzou (since signed a QB and accepted a transfer QB)

Who did Indiana sign? I'm not seeing it.

I think some of those may be from his junior year when he starred at Upland (a school where Hagan has connects and has signed some guys to CU in the past). Baldwin's senior year was a challenge because IMG had 3 D1 QBs splitting time and he didn't get to showcase as much.

I'd checked guys that Johnson follows right after learning we'd hired him. I saw that he followed Baldwin at that time, but didn't see any CU connects with Baldwin. This morning I took another look at Baldwin at the "Followers You Know" and those 3 guys were now listed.

Indiana got the highly touted QB transfer from Utah, right?
 
That third highlight in the junior season reel from the ~25 yard line and splitting those two DB’s was beautiful. For a kid with a strong arm like he has, he had quite a few solid touch throws and back shoulder throws throughout the film. I'm curious what scouts are seeing that have him ranked as low the #28 DT QB, I'm seeing a lot of potential with this kid.

Edit: I’m getting a big Tyrod Taylor vibe, his highlights remind me of Taylor in high school. I like it.

Dude has a really strong arm and a pretty quick release!
Technically a California kid so his parents would probably like P12?
Would be worth a take this year and redshirt him.
