Lot to like here. High points the ball, has good closing speed, competes for the ball.

I realize vids are limited to what someone wants us to see, but in many of his highlights it looks like he's on an island and zone is employed with some or all of the rest of the d.

A little strange to say about a kid at Bishop Gorman, but it seems it just took awhile for bigger schools to offer.

Very strange. Not only Gorman, but also Brian Kelly's kid (USC & NFL star who played HS ball in Aurora).

P.S. The fact that they've still got a lot of family connections here is helping us a lot with recruiting Kyu.
When did I get so old? One of my best friends who is slightly younger than me played with Brian Kelly at Overland.

I really liked this kid's upside. He was my favorite corner that we offered this year. Very fluid athlete.
We got two good ones though and really hope we land Perry as a nickel /corner.

Stanford could be putting together a special class.

Looks like by this article that we weren't even in it

Shaw is a very good coach, better than I gave him credit for initially after he got the job. He uses the advantages of Stanford well in recruiting.

In the end I think we will be just fine for DBs but this guy would have made a nice addition to the class, good athlete and seems like genuinely a good kid.
