When I saw "full qualifier", I thought there's a chance that CU might want him to join the herd now. Especially with being at 83 scholarships and having 2 available. Then I noticed that Katie Bason is following, which often means that they're getting the academic ducks in a row for enrollment. Then, I saw the tweet below from his position coach. Tea leaves seem to be aligning for Blackmon to be joining our Buffs right away.

"I just need to make sure the area is good and the people are genuine," said Blackmon, who is making the trip with several family members. "Everyone sounds like they're going with me and I'm with them, so I just need to figure out if it's 100 percent."

Blackmon said if he commits to CU, he is planning to enroll in July and return to Boulder in time for the start of fall camp on Aug. 1.

I like that. He sounds like a thoughtful young man. Good on him.

I like the guy. He comes from respected HS and JC programs in NorCal. He wasn't highly recruited out of HS because he was injured his junior year. He can stand to put 5 pounds of muscle on his frame, but that can be done. I hope his visit goes well.
