This kid has sleeper written all over him. Has the size and good athletic ability from the film. Odessa is west-of-nowhere.
But they play a big time schedule (DeSoto and Southlake Caroll in the first 3 games). I think in the end, this kid ends up with some other solid offers, but hopefully he visits Colorado this summer and falls in love just as Fillip did.

For as much as we got around the lone star state in our glory days, we never had a Permian or Midland kid, did we?

Permian is still a good football school, not what it was, but still has some BIG kids and some talent.

Gabe Brooks, a Texas regional 247 writer, had mentioned that Peterson was rated as a 3*-86 grade OT - the site was just taking some time to update.

The site has now updated with his rating.

Good frame. Good feet. Room to grow. This is a real deal tackle prospect.
