Has decided he doesn't want to risk injury and potentially forego millions of $$?? Why wouldn't he just take out an insurance policy? Obvious speculation on my part but don't understand the decision at this point in the season.

Someone needs to post the mock HaLkins cartoon interview on a Tennessee board, and match it to that. They will probably go nuts at the similarities and freak out that they hired the crew cut version of HaLkins.

It really shouldn't be a surprise, in retrospect. Mike Bohn being over the moon excited at the possibility of hiring Butch Jones kind of pulls it together. Bohn is clearly impressed by a certain type of personality. Kind of like that person you know who always makes bad choices with the same "type" in his/her romantic relationships.
 
The eye witness report paints a really dark situation, not of McKnight, but how it went down in public. RIP
