I could see this coming as could most. However I believe this year was like the Buffs 2016 run and I think next year it will be back to 5 win seasons for the Orange. Recruiting is getting better though so we'll see. Hope I'm wrong.
I will give you total credit for that brilliant take! I am betting that Roper is heading there right now. It is right in his sweet spot.

This is what I tried to put in perspective for the Syracuse fans that thought we were stupid for firing Mac2. I said take this season and look at the next 2. If you see regression and losing seasons are you going to think it is stupid to want him gone?

Not really, they offered him forever ago and Drinkwitz was his main recruiter. Roper makes zero sense for NC State, they need an OC.

Really liked Pasqualoni, had the 'Cuse going steady after MacPherson. Then he just hit a wall for some reason in the early 2000's. Somehow he keeps finding jobs to this day.
Totally agree with both of these points. I like Babers a lot as a coach and hope he puts Cuse back on the map. Kids really seem to like him too. MacPherson was a legend in Syracuse. Pasqualoni had things going well but he was the worst ever with the media. Marrone was a D-bag. Just my thoughts I guess. Hope they crush WVA and Halgorsens bald ass.
