So, we're a DISTANT 5th is what you're saying. Cool, cool.

Stumbled onto Brian Howell's weekly live chat in Buffzone.com, and one thing he mentioned was that a Corn who is in the portal, WR/ RB Will(iam) Nixon, visited Boulder last weekend. He was part of the frosh class of 2020.

NE roster page - https://huskers.com/sports/football/roster/will-nixon/42866

Per https://nebraska.rivals.com/news/nebraska-wide-receiver-will-nixon-finding-his-own-game , looks like he lost his true freshman season after getting injured during the summer of 2020. Last season, he had 1 catch for 5 yards.

Per https://247sports.com/college/washi...spect-Will-Nixon-On-Official-Visit-184389552/ , he's also, at minimum, already taken a visit to the Huskies the middle of last month. (Per that article, he still has 4 years to play 4 years. He also mentioned 4 or so other schools, all P5, he's also thinking of visiting.)

It'll be interesting to see how this line of thinking works for Dabo going forward. If he continues to not use the portal then he'll not only have to recruit at an elite level but also keep his top players from transferring out

Dabo’s hot takes are frequently horrible. He had an elite team and now is getting surpassed.

He’s an asshole. He will adapt because he will have to

IMO Clemson's main problem is that Dabo likely missed on the current QB from California. Clemson will be back. Dabo's take on the portal is interesting; maybe he's trying to use that statement as a recruiting tool, who knows. Kind of a gamble if he's going to stick to that. You can say all you want about him but he's not stupid.

Dabo channeling his inner Scott Frost with the whole “is he better than what we got?” line. Thing is, transfers are usually not better than what he’s got. Kind of a different situation than what they have in Lincoln.

Dabo will go get a transfer when he thinks it will help his team. And he won’t have my problem convincing them to come to Clemson, either.

He's actually profoundly stupid.

Assuming he RS last year, he'd be a 4 to play 4 guy and would need some development. Worth it for CU, but probably not an immediate impact guy if his weight fluctuation was as bad as that article said it was.
