Brand spanking new school president did a fantastic job of botching this one. Upon receiving a report that probably cost >$250k that took six months he suspends Fitz for two weeks during the off season. The student newspaper actually interviews a couple former players and levels explosive charges with pictures as evidence 24 hours after the suspension is annouced. The president immediately starts stuttering and sputtering and finally goes full Monty with the firing.
Meanwhile, the AD during a large period of time that that alleged hazing took place is the new Commissioner of the ACC. Wonder if any of this stink sticks to him.

Maybe you and Jim are right. UT moving to the SEC is a major factor here.
Not sure hot seat is the correct term but if Iowa doesn’t have a solid season Ferentz could retire. I just can’t see him scapegoating his son
