(I plan on continuing to use and update this thread and post as, hopefully, the Buffs advance in the tournament.)

It's a few days until Buff men's basketball (22-9 overall; 13-7 in Pac 12 play), the #3 seed this season, head to Las Vegas to begin its trek towards being Pac 12 tourney champions with a quarterfinal game against the winner of Wednesday night's 1st round game (also scheduled to start at 9:30 PM MT) between the #6 seed Utah Utes (18-13, 9-11) and #11 seed ASU Sun Devils (14-17, 8-12).
(The winner of the Buff quarterfinal game is scheduled to play a semifinal starting at 8:30 PM MT Friday against the winner of the quarterfinal of #2 WSU vs. the winner of the #7 Cal vs. #10 Stanford 1st round game.)

All tournament games are scheduled to be played at the T-Mobile Arena.

The majority of tourney games are slotted to be shown on the Pac-12 Networks. HOWEVER, both the quarterfinal, and if they advance, semifinal game(s) the Buffs are/ would be involved in is/ are scheduled to be on FS1's late time slot, and the Saturday evening championship game is slotted to be on Fox. (Links and more information about coverage for each CU game will be added further down in this post.)

In the current NET rankings (dated 3/8/24, so doesn't include CU's win over OSU; https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings), CU is #30, while the Utes are at #48 and Sun Devils #123.

Go Buffs!!!

All things considered, and regardless of what they do in Vegas and beyond..... I really couldn't be prouder of this team! Overcoming key injuries and the usual ups and downs of a season, to finish with a six game winning streak is pretty damn awesome! I still think they need one more win to be confident of a Dance bid, but they most definitely deserve to have their name called on Selection Sunday.

Carlson (the good one) injured his elbow last night. If he's not back by next week, the yoots are in trouble.

I expect USC will roll Washington setting up an interesting rematch with Arizona, who they just beat.
Two teams that had Dance talent this season. USC's hot, but don't discount the bump in play by a team its first game under an interim after firing its coach.

I think they announced Mike Hopkins is going to finish the season, but there's still probably going to be a bump.

Need to do the right things mentally and physically over the next few days to be ready for Thursday night's game.

11:30 p.m. on a Thursday is no picnic when you're 35.

do it jewish GIF

From the buffzone article
J’Vonne Hadley told BuffZone he actually has been cleared to ditch the protective mask he has been wearing since suffering a facial fracture during a win at Washington on Jan. 24. Now accustomed to its fit, Hadley has opted to retain the look — particularly since he believes opponents have given the injury a little extra attention.

“They actually told me I could take it off last week,” Hadley said. “But I’m not a fan of how I’ve gotten hit a couple times in every single game since. So there’s really no point in me taking it off right now.”

Things much. So proud of the team and so much fun to watch them grow and develop. Best coaching job Tad from Tad to get this team rolling when they needed to, at the most important time of the year to be playing their best ball. So deserving of a bid and will get it. Win the first and last pac12 Tourney! Go Buffs!

Crazy he starts career at Gardner Webb, transfer to Marquette for a year, then Manhattan for a year, the West Virginia but never plays and can’t due to academics, then transfers to ASU commits October 17th, 3 weeks before their first game. Is their second leading scorer then leaves the team with a game left in the regular season and before the pac 12 tourney.

Still can’t believe this is where college athletics is and so glad Tad doesn’t run his program like that.

ASU has no depth already so this hurts them.

That's been the entire reason it hasn't worked for Bobby. He gets dudes, but doesn't keep them. No continuity.
