2024 Transfer Portal News - Please Respect My Decision

Is this guy older than Bo Nix? At least he'll be able to pay his mortgage and provide for his wife of 10 years and both kids. Jeezus, how many years are we gonna let these dudes play?
Since 2020 didn't count, we've got another couple years of extended eligibility.

(Although the 1st Tweet below says he's a FB, per his roster page (linked to below) he's a 309 lb. OL.)

Maybe no one else will notice and we win the recruiting battle by default?

Yes. He was on scholarship with 2 more years.
I can’t remember another player who came in with such elevated expectations who completely failed to live up to them (Conrad Obi aside, who has his own award named after him for failing to live up to the hype).

Were we unfair to Fauria or was he just here because of his Dad and probably wasn’t as good as we wanted him to be?

I don't think it was unfair and his rating was appropriate as a high 3* or borderline 4*. He basically was an oversized slot WR with the way he was used in HS, so maybe fit better if he was going to be in the Chev (Kingsbury) offense. Then the injuries piled up. I think he can be productive for someone if he finds the right fit and can stay healthy.

I'm not sure how this would compare to returning CU Interior DL, but "Keanaaina (72.3) was tied for 137th [in interior DL grades on PFF]." He didn't see a ton of snaps, but he was behind a VERY deep DL.
He didn't do anything spectacular at ND but he showed that he could hold up on the LOS against quality P5 level offensive lines and be solid against the run. This in itself would put him well ahead of where we were last year.

The latter. 10000000000%. Film don't lie. His film was D2/Low FCS based on the competition he played and the stats he put up (or didn't put up).

Whenever Fauria is mentioned, here comes @Da Lama

He should've been a LOW 3. End of story.

Darrell Scott would like a word, and Marcus Houston is waiting on line two.
