He feels like a developing Karl Anthony-Towns guy, and not a Center, so you are totally correct, gotta get a big bigIf Dak is our plan at C, we are furked in the Big12. There will be multiple teams that have guards that weigh more than he does.
I feel like we may see Fawaz a good deal more than we expect. He'll likely be a limited scoring threat, but he can definitely play D and rebound at this stage. He feels like a developing Karl Anthony-Towns guy, and not a Center, so you are totally correct, gotta get a big big
Really depends on system being made to fit. Looking at the NBA, 2 of the best teams start centers who can't body anyone in the paint (Porzingis and Holmgren). If Dak is our plan at C, we are furked in the Big12. There will be multiple teams that have guards that weigh more than he does.
It is unlikely there will be an effective transition to a new system offensively next year. I'll ask again, is Malone leaving? If Malone is on campus he's probably the starting center, with BD 4 and Rancik at 3.Really depends on system being made to fit. 6'11" / 185 isn't 7'1" / 208 and certainly isn't 7'2" / 240.Really depends on system being made to fit. Looking at the NBA, 2 of the best teams start centers who can't body anyone in the paint (Porzingis and Holmgren).
Dak is not 185.6'11" / 185 isn't 7'1" / 208 and certainly isn't 7'2" / 240.
Correct. Probably 175.Dak is not 185.
Dak is not 185.
Just going by what the interwebz told meCorrect. Probably 175.
Probably telling that both of those teams are stacked with talented perimeter defendersReally depends on system being made to fit. Looking at the NBA, 2 of the best teams start centers who can't body anyone in the paint (Porzingis and Holmgren).
Yep. Systems built around court spacing to take advantage of speed & shooting ability.Probably telling that both of those teams are stacked with talented perimeter defenders

I do think that our starting front court is pretty locked in with Malone (C), Dak (Stretch-4), and Rancik (F) along with Tacko as a backup C.
Barrington at PG. We could use an established 3 & D SG or Wing. Since we lost RJ, we need to sign a sniper from 3, too, even if he is a defensive liability who can come in and launch 3 or 4 in about 10 minutes of court time.
Yes, he stole SHT's spot as the most *comment redacted*Ummmm.... Malone???? Did I miss something?
