2025 CU Football Eligibility Chart

I like what you got going here...but Seaton is over 300lbs, right?
Seaton has to be like 315 at this point, and Carde Smith is a massive kid and is bigger than he is listed
The overall size of these guys is amazing and has so much potential with the new S&C and with hopefully a big time OL Coach
I like having the two Assistant coaches help work on more training, but got to have a guru pulling the strings

The good part is that they are big guys, not fat guys or inflated guys. They aren't 240lb boys with bellies.

Some observations from Reach the People conditioning videos.

Swasey is a badass, so calm and smart, what a motivator. "we just working, didn't know it at the time, but I had 19 1st rounders around me." Damn, if that doesn't illicit a commitment, I don't know what else would.

Salter (the young LB) looks strong

Augustave should firmly be the #1 RB

Omarion Miller is healthy, big, will be the dude!

Culture seems to be gelling together, what a great group of guys who are competitive and seem to be getting along. I love this ****!

Idk, I still think he’s probably too old school and shouty for these guys. We might not have enough guys to field a team by end of conditioning

Minus DT and OL, I feel like the roster is relatively balanced class-wise.
I'm not sure class balance is really a thing anymore.

I hope that changes as they sort this stuff out out. I think it makes for better football with players that are easier for fans to relate to if we can get back to having upperclassman JAGs who know the system and are great program culture guys that underclassman with more talent have to beat out to see the field, but are given time to develop into those upperclassman JAGs if they can't.

@The Alabaster Yak are you going to update the roster? Has it moved to another thread? Cool, if you don't have the time. One of outlets released one over the weekend. Yours is still pretty close. Props for doing this.

Looking at the Depth Chart. We are loaded with Seniors this year on the OL/DL. Some were saying this is a transition year, but man are we losing a lot of beef for 2026.

While there has been a lot of discussion regarding the use of the portal versus prep recruiting, there is a good bit of young talent waiting to step into bigger roles.

We will lose a lot of guys, but we have lost a bunch every season. However, this year we have played a ton of younger guys too and barring transfers we should not strapped at every position. I'm sure we will fill with the portal and promote with underclassman from within, which we really could not do much the 1st 2 prime seasons. Hopefully, we get a few recruits that can come in and play right away, aka Gibson, McPherson, Merritt etc... That should help with retention.

On the one hand, CU getting to 6/7 wins will be the big help, however in years where we faltered, I think CU was more appealing to transfer guys looking to play right away.
