That was really cool to hear that conversation, you don't get to hear that much. You can tell the kid loves the Buffs though!
 
Sounds like we would have to screw this up pretty bad to not land his signature.
 
A few miscellaneous things I see regarding him-
  • Every source I'm finding shows him at 6'0" (rather than the 5'10" listed in the original post), and most list him at 189 lbs. now. (EDIT- I now see the 180 lbs. in the OP is probably OK, as 247 says that was his confirmed weight at a Jan. 2019 combine (see post #14). EDIT 2- now I see where the 5'10" comes from. Interesting that 247 went with the combine weight, but didn't change the height.)
  • CSU has now also offered.
  • Admit to being pretty totally ignorant of how the 247's, HUDL and Rivals of the world list a recruit's position, but it will be interesting to see if all they continue to "only" list him as a WR. He lists himself as an "ATH" in his Twitter profile, and from his Maxpreps stats (http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/kaden-dudley/HT5SsiGuEeiT-Oz0u-e-FA/gendersport/football-stats.htm ), in addition to his 30 receptions as a WR, he also had some very nice defensive stats, highlighted by 9 interceptions, last season. (He had at least one INT in each of his last 7 games.) He also tweeted the below that indicates to me he was named "Colorado Rivals" Colorado 2021 class defensive back of the year.

Not an offer but visited ND it appears. His avatar is all ND, although his CU offer tweet is still pinned. Me thinks he’s ND bound if they offer.
