'21 TNFR OT Max Wray (Verbal to COLORADO)

Wray, Filip, the tank and Wiley are all good young OL. Ray, and Lytle can be an emergency starter at tackle. Still think we need one more tackle for depth. Will be okay with taking 3 OT in the 2022 class with two early enrollees.

They are young with a lot of things to work on in football age. But they are talented. Filip has about 6 starts. Wray has no starts.

Wray started a game in 2020 at Ohio State. Both have played in nearly double digit games and will be entering their fourth years in 2021. The expectations will be that they can be full-time starters in 2021 with little to no help.

One guy does not, by himself, make up for the deficiencies at OL, but it sure helps. Starting to have a glimmer of hope for the 2021 season. Could be filthy in the running game this year.

Great pickup! Our high school recruiting blows to this point, but Dorrell and crew have done very, very well in the transfer portal.

Smart guy.

Not only for picking Colorado but he already has his bachelors degree. Not a bad deal to be able to finish a masters degree or more paid for.
He has three years of eligibility left. Close to a PhD. Good deal.

I feel pretty good with a starting five of Fillip and Wray at the tackle spots, Pursell at center, Kutsch at one guard spot, and Roddick, Ray, Fenske, Lytle battling out for the other guard spot. Depth is still highly questionable at the tackle position, but at least you have Fenske there in a pinch while you bring some of the younger guys along. Rodrigue has done a good job plugging some significant holes.

I wonder if this is it for CU on the transfer market, or do they add one more lineman? With Wray and Fenske on board, they next guy will be a tougher sell.
