Hopefully he wants to follow his own path, but with his brother already there, assume this could be an influential offer, one way or the other.

Honestly, if he’s committing elsewhere that’s the best landing spot for two reasons: (1) it’s not a conference opponent, and (2) if Tucker and MSU implodes in year 2, CU might be able to jump into the mix again.
Sparty might implode. Unfortunately they drew a pretty easy schedule this year. Western Kentucky & Youngstown St out of conf. Pulled Purdue, Nebraska, and NW out of the other division.

Plus, Coach Tucker’s contract is massive. This doesn’t even factor into account the Larry Nasser payouts that should go for a bit.

Agreed. Tucker is such an unknown quantity at this point. His career is going to be fun to watch develop.

FWIW, the Hilltoppers loaded up on a lot of transfers out of power schools, and also grabbed an intriguing grad transfer QB out of Houston Baptist. Youngstown State is pretty sad right now, though. Shame for such a storied program.

Yeah, no matter how his team performs next year, Tucker isn’t getting fired soon.
