'23 KS RB Dylan Edwards (Signed to COLORADO)

I think he’ll be a third down back, slot option, and gadget guy out of the backfield. Should be lots of fun in Lewis’ offense.
You are not a 3rd down back until you understand the offense barring a very a specific play.

That being said, I think we will see enough explosion plays this year that, assuming he learns the offense, he is pushing for feature back time next year.

I pray Shurmur is able to use these weapons creatively and not just think of them as generic X’s and O’s
Edwards is special and needs 8-10 creative open field touches.
Prime is not an offensive coach but he knows what gives defenses problems. Shurmur is going to be the OC but I'm expecting that Prime is going to be coaching him to be more unpredictable and attack more aggressively.

Yikes! Phil’s career tanked when Shurmur took on the Broncos offense…

I mean it’s been well advertised they came through with a huge NIL deal which he took after already coming to us for more $$ and accepting months prior.

I may be the only one but I’ll be rooting against him
I see no reason to root for him any more than I would any other person trying to succeed in life. I see no reason to root against him more than anyone else on an opposing team. He seems like a decent young man whose priority is getting the best deal to be a featured back - which just seems normal to me.

Where was it advertised that he came to us for money money prior to the K State offer?

Coach Klieman acted super innocent about how he contact him once he entered the portal, like it was just a fortuitous opportunity that showed up.
He was backdoor approached by the KState NIL folks, especially through his father, and it was way too much to turn down. I can buy the homesick thing, but that combined with cash is what brought him home. I wish him luck, but I know he has already been replaced.
