Lanning is a piece of ****, but I'm not sure a head coach would do that. Too much chance of backlash.
Yeah, head coaches never do anything that could cause a backlash.

Pretty blatant racism... not as bad as it gets when it comes to racism but it's a pretty obvious dogwhistle.

Not surprising at all sadly when you consider how many racist haters Coach Prime has attracted as one of the very few black P5 head coaches.

Reddit's CFB sub is the perfect example. I've seen some very blatant racism on there and even more covert racism in the form of the inexplicable level of hatred that CP receives on there. When you consider the fact that he's rebuilding a long suffering football program from the ground up, it's crazy how much hate he gets.

And you can't forget that CFB itself has a glaring lack of black head coaches. For a sport that's been dominated by black athletes for so long it's actually insane how underrepresented they are in the coaching ranks, especially when you consider how many former players end up coaching. Here's a great article from 3 years ago that goes into detail about the problem.

Really hope that CP can have a lot of success as a coach that results in more black coaches getting the opportunities they deserve. Racism in conferences like the SEC will be hard to overcome but maybe some day it'll be possible.

White people hate black people who speak their mind...I less the black person agrees with them (see self hating POS' like Jason Whitlock or Candace Owens)

This is why I continually laugh at the 'Prime to the SEC' talk. Their boosters and fans want no part of Prime.

Other than Vandy which might as well not be in the SEC, how many Black coaches been in the conference on s permanent basis? Sumlin and Croom.

For those interested in watching, Seaton will be on Team Ice. CU DL signee Brandon Davis-Swain is also a member of Team Ice but will not be playing today due to an injury (not expected to be long term - he wants to play today but there’s a rule against it).

Have seen some confusion, CU WR signee Dre’lon Miller will be participating in a different all-American game that will take place on the 6th. CU RB signee Micah Welch is invited to that game as well but will also not be able to participate due to an injury.
