Most of our prep commits are already OL & DL for 2024. And we're just getting started. A '25 QB is going to be in a good spot at CU with the trench talent - and as @manhattanbuff said, a blue chip QB is a guy others want to play with so that QB further elevates recruitment, sometimes dramatically.
CU will be very active in the portal. I think the prep recruiting will improve after BOB’s tenure is done.
Maybe I am missing something but the prep DL I see, the prep OL I Don't. The only prep OL is Chandler who is apparently going to Mizzery now.
But can we afford the guys we need/want in the portal? That also remains to be seen.
Walker. I lump JC recruiting with preps instead of transfer portal.
Colorado will sign a lot of players in the portal. Their success is TBD. A new OL coach should help.
Better and more realistic structure would be him working it so that one of his NIL sponsors expanded the campaign to tie in his OL. But that happens after they're starters who are performing really well. As it stands, with our sack, pressure and run game rates - our OL has negative value to a brand.
This would be a really good destination for him, unfortunately.
A similar profile guy is going to be either the Heisman winner or runner-up in that offense.
Would be a major get for Kelly. They could win a CFP.
If he was somehow able to reclassify to 2024 to sit for one season behind Shedeur and then take over...

If this happens the floodgates are going to open. Top players offensively are going to flock to Boulder.

Not just that part but also the last sentence. Prime has been outspoken about making CU football a place where players can be themselves and unapologetically black.
Not sure a young man and his family select a school who has no OC, who will mentor and develop him. Unless, the OC has been silently agreed upon and this was shared with Underwood (which could be very possible).
They should have no chance with the former UCLA guy up there behind Gabriel.
He has a year before he signs. Plenty of time to evaluate the OC.
