Seems like he could be a 2 to play 2 guy if we like him enough.

'20 Covid year.
'21 Wyoming
'22 Juco
'23 Ole Miss, played in 12 games
'24 Ole Miss, played in 4 games (so this could be a RS year, sort of hilarious)

edit: and Adam has an article up stating he has 2 years, so this evidently was known. I did the above wondering, how much more time can a guy have that came into CFB in 2020? Evidently, a guy could easily have 8 years total:
1 Covid, 2 for Juco, 5 to play 4 (or 5 if that's the new rule).... Geez. If you're BYU, throw in a couple more to get ready for Juco while doing a "mission" in Alabama or somewhere with good "nutrition" and access to gymnasiums and we can easily get close to 30 years old.

What he told me (got a new story on Mana Taimani here shortly): "I'm class of 2020 so that year didn't count because of COVID. I only played three games at Diablo Valley College because I broke my hand so I had used a medical redshirt, and I used my main redshirt this past season at Ole Miss."

So technically, he has one year of eligibility but will be a shoo-in for a medical hardship waiver in 2026. (You can't officially apply for those until the end, unless that has changed recently)

He's go the Medical RS thing wrong. You can't get a Medical RS if you had a regular RS year available.
But, since Juco years don't seem to count, NOW, the math works out the same:

'20 Covid year does not count
'21 Wyoming
'22 Juco (doesn't count as anything,)
'23 Ole Miss, played in 12 games
'24 Ole Miss, played in 4 games (so this could be a RS year, sort of hilarious)

2 to play 2!
