Nice of Stoutmire to free up #23 just in time!

I wish Stout would have stayed. Last year, he did not have the greatest season but the D had holes everywhere. I think he would have still been firmly in the rotation even with Boo and the others. I like Boo and think Prime & Co. can give him that 2nd chance. I would not mind them taking a run at his teammate Caleb Herring, if they are close and the price is right. Miami is all over him right now. Herring was projected to start at their LEO position, OLB/Edge and the guys in front of him are headed or in the NFL. His brother is headed to NFL.

With Stout, the portal giveth and taketh away!! If certain players are on good terms with the team, I would like to see McKinney (he is still solid), Stout (he has solid parts of his game, just can't have holes all round him) and Kam (I still see upside, IMO he simply beat out Dre'lon but we did not play him enough) test the market then consider resigning or giving CU the chance to match. On3 listed McKinney as signing with Notre Dame, but they walked that back. We did the scrimmage, you got your film to go shop, but if you can contribute next season, they can have 2nd chances too. Could be doubtful, but a development like that would look good for Prime being a players first coach. P.S.--if they do come back, they have to earn their jersey numbers back.

IMO, it is telling that nobody has bit on Smith, King or Hudson (sounded like maybe BC, backward lateral) to date. Taking the $$$ as a Frosh and not really seeing the field on a 3-9 team apparently says something.

Official... with a twist.

The twist is that Marion's lobbying to get to use Boo on offense. He wanted to be a 2-way player when he was being recruited out of HS (some chatter that nothing happening with that being the root of the fallout with Tennessee).

Works for me under Prime’s rule that you can play two ways only after you dominate on one side.

Boo will play in all three phases at Colorado.
Why we never ran fake punts with Mate 2.0, who was a professional rugby player is beyond me? Could easily scout teams that set up returns and do the right side rollout kick or run. Dude was smoking everyone physically all summer. Who is ST coordinator?

Better not be the same guy next season. Better. Not. Be.
