Yeah. It was 65 and sunny today. Was like being in San Diego or something.
i hate hate hate the narrative that colorado, especially boulder, is cold. the most miserable weather in america is humid, hateful mid south. the coldest weather in america is the windy, biting upper midwest. colorado front range gets like 5 snowy days followed by warm winds. why do we let Penn (Pedo) State or Indiana claim they have better weather than the greatest town in America?? The town that legendary HC KD built a house in????

Same latitude as Columbus and Philadelphia but sunshine and low humidity. It's about the best a 4-season climate gets. Weather is more of an asset than a liability for recruiting and especially retention.

Are you suggesting that all of our players have abandoned us due to the lack of snow?

Don't want to derail, but to add to this: I was up in Ned yesterday and the reservoir is crazy low. I'm worried it's gonna be a bad wildfire year if we don't get a lot of precipitation the next 4 months.
Come on man... nobody intentionallyl travels to Nederland. And on a Saturday?

Love Ned. Went on Friday, fwiw. Hadn't been up there since the fire. Kind of sad to see the shape that main plaza is in and know what it means for the small biz owners, employees, services and tax base in such a small town of under 2k people. We wanted to spend some money there.

Granted, I live in Nebraska, but I took a trip to a cabin just outside of Ned this summer. It was a weird little town, but very enjoyable all the same. I was sad to hear about the fire a few months ago. There were some cool shops in that plaza.
