Observation: Jay Norvell is an absolutely atrocious coach in the red zone. Just wow. He has no idea what to do.
 
I agree that it's kinda hard to reconcile the guy you see with the media with the stories you hear, but you see him walking through the other team's workouts, having "team prayers" on the home team's logos before road games, then being like "aw, shucks, I didn't think it would bother anyone" and then doing it again week after week. Those things make it easier to believe that he's a duplicitous SOB.
