So, as evidence that bowl games are officially ****ty now, I realized last night we don't even have a thread to discuss them this year.

Interestingly, we also don't have a playoff thread.

Two random comments about last night's games:

1. I expected UW to win, but really thought Bama would knock off Michigan.

2. Not sure how I missed this:

Okay, so someone explain to me why the game clock didn't start when the play clock did after the injury to Washington's RB. Why would you penalize a team like that in that situation? Seems dumb.

I thought the clip was very appropriate, gives a nice sense of the Sugar Bowl atmosphere for the home viewer.

I put lunch money on UW for the championship when the line was +700 last week. I didn't think they should be the favorites, but their chances were far better than +700.

Saw that live. As they were walking down the street doing the local live happenings, once they showed her I said to my wife “camera better stop filming, she’s about to pull her boobs out.” You could see it coming a mile away. But the baby in the stroller that ran into her right when she did it was priceless.
