Colorado has released its pre-spring depth chart, but the biggest news is the announcement that QB Nick Hirschman will be out with a foot injury. That means Hirschman won't be able to compete with Connor Wood, a Texas transfer, for the starting job. Hirschman was recovering from offseason foot surgery when he hurt his other foot. From a press release: "[Hirschman] broke the exact same metatarsal bone in his other foot over the weekend (he was walking and just stepped on it wrong, he was not in any athletic activity or conditioning); he flew home to California today where he will have surgery later in the week.
