money can't buy you love. kentucky's $22 million team is struggling

"To illustrate the scope of the disaster in Lexington, Ky., understand how noncompetitive Kentucky’s reported $22 million roster (believed to be the most expensive in the sport) has looked in its four games vs. high-major competition. Against its rival Louisville, the Wildcats got blitzed out of the gates with 13–0 and 10–0 first-half runs and trailed by as many as 20 in the second before rallying to make the final tally more respectable. Yet they still have a higher NET ranking than the 8-0 Buffs

They should be able to go into the draft, but they can go G-League Ignite when they're 18 if they don't want to play college ball.
I would be in favor of a change that says they can go to the G-League out of HS like they do now but if they choose to go the college route they aren't eligible for the draft for a minimum of 2 years. That would benefit the colleges, the players, and the NBA teams.

Players who are ready to go could go G-League, those that don't would have two years of development. This would make it less likely to have situations like Cody Williams who was drafted high but wasn't ready to play. Now he isn't getting much development on the end of the Utah bench.

Cody is actually in the G League right now

NCAA publicly admitting that it has been completely neutered and has no ability to make or enforce rules.

Refs inexplicably gave continuation, called it a shooting foul, and Cal won the game on a 4 point play.

Notre Dame coach absolutely lost his shyt and had to be restrained by multiple coaches and players from chasing the ref into the tunnel and kicking his ass.

Not a good look for college basketball. But since it didn't happen to CU and Tad, also hilarious.

Watching the replay I didn't see a foul at all. Apparently this is the 2nd time that ref made a bad call to decide a game, not sure what the other was

Of note is that the officiating crew was not included in this apology.
