Because everyone needs to tie in whatever they can to **** talk Colorado. The Buffs are living rent free in the heads of the sports world. 🤷🏻‍♂️
I mean, it's one thing when I insert Buffs or Coach Prime anecdotes into unrelated daily conversations but when fans of other teams do it then it's just weird.

No thanks on this bowl game. Honestly couldn't think of less intriguing matchup

Unless the process has changed since last year, the updates in the viewership thread are exactly the reason why there it's highly unlikely CU ends up in that bowl if they are eligible.

the caveat is that because the P12 is ****ing stupid, the bowls have to correlate their picks with the final conference standings. I.E. the Alamo Bowl has to take the top team in the P12 standings that is not selected for a NY6 bowl, the Holiday Bowl gets next, etc.

However, the Alamo Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Las Vegas Bowl all have the flexibility to pick a team within one loss of the first unselected team in the standings. The Sun and the LA (Jimmy Kimmel) bowl do not.

I'm betting that the P12 gets at least 2 slots for the NY6 bowls, so that means that if CU is within 1 game of the number 5 team in the conference, the Las Vegas Bowl will trip over their dicks trying to get the massive viewership bump from bringing in CU vs someone like Oregon State (sorry, Beavs).

Also, the implicit prediction that guy's making with his picks is that USC finishes 6th in the conference. I don't think that's happening.
