The best part is that if you look at some of the cherry picked stats he used and apply them to csu too, it doesn't make a difference in the total rivalry record.
65% of CU's wins game before 1960. So did csu's, turns out. Almost like 65% of the games in the rivalry were played before 1960...
Worst stretch of CU football since the 1950's and CSU still loses 3 out of 4. This years Buffs aren't like the Buffs we have been seeing the past 20 years.
And the Sheep couldn't beat those teams.
Yep. We are out of our malaise and they're not out of theirs.
Maybe Norvell's got them headed in the right direction, who knows, but the trajectory isn't nearly as steep, and even though it's hard to imagine anyone being worse than us last year, they were probably close.
Norvell is a good coach but they aren't anywhere close to coming out of their depths.
If they have a really good year they will push to get out of the bottom 5 in the MWC. Their recruiting isn't at a level that is going to make them better.
The only thing they have going for them is that they know this game is the only one that really counts to their fans. Win it or even keep it somewhat close and the fans are excited and with them the rest of the season. Get blown out and their fans are watching volleyball and Real Housewives.

Norvell seems like a ****ing goober to me-I mean there was "Raise your hand if you want to go to the championship!" He one-ups that by running his mouth this week. What's next-throwing at Travis Hunter?
He moved to CA so a little less involved. He knows they’re gonna lose though and hates Prime (probably just jealousy)

Lame back pedal. In the comments 7 news asked him if he wanted to comment and he replied “Nope.”
There’s no such thing as bad publicity if you are CSU. Every person who mentions this is mentioning CSU. Norvell knows they won’t win the game, so he’s doing what he can to shift the focus, even if just a little, away from CU. It’s calculated.
Interesting logic leap there Rece. How does “my momma raised me right (unlike the other guy)!” equal “we won’t be intimidated!”?

Flipping between the shows. I think fox is the better one so far.
