CU @ Arizona 12/5 - 5PM MT - FS1

An 0-3 team being discussed as better than a 3-0 team is a bigbang level take.

Listening to the first few minutes of that podcast and they say "UCLA is terrible"... UCLA is terrible but beat Arizona by 3 scores, and somehow Colorado, who pasted UCLA is worse than Arizona?

God dammit, why am I getting sucked into this

Edit: Why did you guys delete the Tweet?
it's 2020 - if it's spoken, then it's either true or utterly unpossible

A win @ Tucson would be sweet. You know that the Buffs are not discounting the Wildcats, who lost to USC a few weeks ago only because a tipped pass luckily went into the hands of a USC receiver in the last minute. A Colorado win would mean Top 25 for sure, and what a wonderful statement that would be for HCKD.

Ray Lewis, Greg Hardy, and Tyreek Hill (just off the top of my head) played football after way worse stuff than that. Not saying it is right or wrong but if the kid has enough talent he'll play again.

The kid is an all state Texas defensive player and a stud wrestler. He will play football again.

It’s wrong for the team to be penalized and removed from the playoffs.

Except this kid has had similar incidents in the past with his temper.

Haven't been able to find it but saw something earlier that said this isn't the first time this kid has had incidents in the past challenging officials.

If that is the case it's going to be tougher for him.

If he's good enough on the field he will get another chance to play but it looks like that will probably be at the collegiate level.

Also not surprising that they would disqualify the team for an act like this. The coaches failed to control their player, at the high school level that responsibility is weighed highly.

I'm a little excited about this game in Tucson coming up tomorrow. A win would mean a lot for getting the Buffs recognized at a national level. Colorado is now ranked #30 in the "other votes" thing, but there is no way that they could deny Top 25 status for a 4-0 PAC 12 team.

I was heretofore unfamiliar with Beau Brummell outside of the name drop in Billy Joel’s It’s Still Rock & Roll To Me

He's a kid. It is a pretty epic screw up. Actually criminal behavior, but if it is an isloated incident, punish, teach and hope he figures it out.
Cane him then make him stand barefooted on a case of empty coca-cola bottles. If he steps off cane him some more.

“Duron was suspended for the remainder of the 2019-20 soccer season after a similar incident occurred during a match last year against crosstown rival Edinburg Vela.”

Wait, that kid plays soccer? Now it all makes sense. This is all a tragic mistake. He probably thought he would run at the ref, the ref would see him, and dodge at the last minute, feigning contact and flopping on the ground. He had no intent to hurt anybody.

We still don’t know the starting QB today, which is odd. Usually these things leak out before game day.

The Arizona 247 site has got some good posts like “Denver media tends to hype the Buffs and drink the Kool-Aid.” Ok, sure.
