Would love Reed on staff, but has he ever called a defensive play at any level in his life let alone managed a staff, created a gameplan, made in-game adjustments, etc? Feels like a major stretch for him to be DC
I could see Reed on staff. I don’t think there’s any chance he’s the DC.

A lot of smoke around Norton. Anything from somebody credible?
Not that I’ve seen. Adam said he thinks it’s Zimmer but that was on his emergency podcast when it was first announced
Seems to be the echo chamber of Buff fans.
This is what I was trying to decipher. Sometimes the smoke is based in something real from people who know. This one seems to be based in something else.

They even went as far to as to say they believe Lovie Smith is the odds on favorite at this point but the truly game changing hire would be Ed Reed.
I've seen other articles mention Ron Rivera, Tony Dungy, Brandon Staley.
I'm just at a loss for the mention of some of these names being mentioned as legitimate or "odds on favorite" candidates for seemingly no particular reason.
How would Ed reed be a game changer as DC? Make him Safeties coach... what has he shown that makes anyone think he can call a game?
