I'm DEFINITELY not complaining, but I thought the B12 media contract stipulated that every team had to appear on ESPN+ at least once per season?

"one game at a time ..." blah blah blah

but i'm nevous as hell about this game. and i had no idea that it was Arrowhead. that makes me even more worried. nothing good ever happens there.

Well, yesterday probably didn't help that feeling

I half watched the replay of the ISU-KU game this morning while doing other things.

It was an interesting game. It started out pretty even, ISU took the lead 7-0, and then for about 18 game minutes, everything went right for KU and everything went wrong for ISU. Which isn't to say that KU didn't make a lot of it happen, they moved the ball seemingly at will and were relentless on defense. On four straight possessions they scored 28 points on drives of 74, 90, 73, and 76 yards. After that stretch, though, things went back to the way they were before, and honestly, ISU got the better of them the rest of the game. KU was up 31-10 and ended up being 45-36. Outside of gaining 313 yards on those 4 drives, they gained 219 the rest of the game.

So it was kind of a Jekyll and Hyde game for both teams, though you can't discount KU probably letting up a bit in the second half.

It'll be interesting to see what happens this weekend. It's kind of a trap game for BYU, they're definitely going to be a bit beat up from the Utah game and KU is going to be flying high from Saturday's win. If KU pulls the upset, then watch out.

One thing of interest - KU is still fighting for bowl eligibility, but they have no wiggle room. That will be something to watch if they beat BYU, too. If they drop to 3-7 though, that might be an demotivator for our game against them.

Nope. F-that place. And that city couldn't get their s*** together to get a new stadium so we're stuck watching our teams toil at that hell house for who knows how long.

(Jeez, was the last time the Broncs won there with Payton?)

I was thinking this morning that we really want a BYU win to take the wind out of KU's sails before we play them.

KU has never beaten ranked opponents in consecutive weeks. They'll try to do that this week in Provo.

KU gave BYU their welcome to the Big 12 game and now BYU can give KU their welcome to Provo game. Should be a physical one.
