CU Basketball Court Auction

I was originally going to say if it is only going for ~5k, they should have sold it in sections, ie. the logo on the baseline/center court, etc. Then people could buy it to put it in their rec rooms and stuff like that. I was debating how much having just a section with the CU logo on it was worth for me, but 25k is not it. Better for them, looks like they have at least one person that has a real use for it.

It's up to $25,100. Haven't been paying attention as to the bidder. Might be a bidding war.

How dare people spend money on something so frivolous when people are starving across the state. Disgusting.

Well the Basketball/Volleyball court Sold for $32,100. It is going to some where in Long Beach CA.

As far as the AD is concerned, they are just happy not to pay disposal costs. Someone paying for it and the pickup costs is a win for Bohn. And they needed to clear the storage space out with the Pac-12 studio stuff going in.

I don't get it

Miles tweeted some ignorant BS making fun of CU for selling its court for $5k. (That was the minimum opening bid set on the online auction site and was well below the reserve amount.)

It would be sweet to build a State of the art rec center in cali. Put that floor in there and host tournaments.

Looks like Dinos Trigonis bought it. He's the publisher of FullcourtPress.com and is a director at the Pangos All-American Camp.

Dinos Trigonis ‏@trigonis30 @TomAbatemarco1 tommie saw ur boy chris washburn @ nbpa camp. Also scooped up your old CU floor, pickin it up next week and taking it to LA
