Official Allbuffs Tailgate:

Lot 346, which you can see on the Parking Map (post #2 in this thread). Tailgate sets up on the West side of that lot and an Allbuffs banner no longer hangs from the tent because one of you assholes lost it.

Located on the North side of Farrand Field. This is where you would meet @sackman , who hosts this tailgate, to pick up your tickets if you win a drawing.

If anyone else hosts a tailgate and wouldn't mind other fans stopping by to say "Hi" and/or share a beer, please post your tailgate spot so we know where to find you. Go Buffs!

Traditions & Event Locations:

Pearl Street Stampede
The Pearl Street Stampedes have become THE kickoff celebration for CU home football games for over a decade. Fridays before each home game, hundreds of Buffs fans line the Pearl Street Mall as members of the Golden Buffalo Marching Band plays to the crowds’ delight. Members of the CU football teamand coaching staff are greeted with cheers and high fives from fans of all ages. The Stampedes are a joint collaboration between the University of Colorado, local businesses, the City of Boulder and Downtown Boulder.

Led by Stephen Tebo’s vintage 1948 fire truck, members of the Golden Buffalo Marching Band start performing at 7 p.m. on the 1300 block of Pearl Street (in front of the County Courthouse). The Stampedes moves west, stopping on each block of the Pearl Street Mall To perform.

2016 Pearl Street Stampede Dates:

Thursday, September 1
Friday, September 9
Friday, September 30 (Family Weekend)
Friday, October 14
Wednesday, November 2
Friday, November 18

Ralphie's Corral Tailgate
Open to everyone, this free, family-friendly tailgating experience is the only place to see Ralphie before she leads the Buffs onto Folsom Field on gameday.

In addition to pictures with the best mascot in all of college sports, Ralphie’s Corral features:
  • Performances by the CU Marching Band and Spirit Team
  • Fun games for kids
  • Pictures with Chip
  • Premium giveaways including CU Nike Gear
  • Great music
  • Concession-style food and drink will be available for purchase
Ralphie’s Corral begins at Benson Field three hours before every home game, and 4 hours before kickoff in Denver for the opener vs CSU.

Buff Walk (New for 2016)

Join the CU Marching Band, Spirit Squad, Chip and other Buffs fans 2.5 hours before kickoff at the new Buff Walk as the football team makes its way from the buses on Colorado Avenue to the locker room along the east side of the stadium. Let the players know you support them and are proud to be a CU fan at the Buff Walk!

This is also the location of the Legacy Brick walkway that goes between Folsom Stadium and the Grove style donor tailgating on Franklin Field.

Here Comes Ralphie!

The University of Colorado Boulder has one of the most unique mascots in all of intercollegiate athletics, a real buffalo named Ralphie. Ralphie leads the football team out on the field both at the start of the game and the second half, creating a spectacular moment of excitement and CU pride.

We always have a group down in lot 169 usually toward the front of the lot close to the grass between the lot and married student housing. Welcome anyone stopping by and there is usually some quality Crazy Neighbor beer being served!

FYI - I just got an email from the ticket office that said parking passes go out at the end of this week. They will still have the regular paper passes they’ve used previously. In other words, parking is still old school.

Still a little early for a tailgate roll call, but that’s coming soon. Promise.

Also, FYI, I have called the Ticket Office and been told lots will open 6 hours prior to kickoff for the UNC game, despite it being on a Friday. Very well could change in the next 3 weeks, but that is the plan as of today.

Let's get fuuuuuuucked up!

For those who never thought to try, Google Maps seems to know all the CU parking lots by number. You can navigate direct to lot 306, or wherever the tailgate is.

For public parking it says these public lots are first-come first-serve, but does anyone happen to know how soon before games they typically fill up? In particular 306 and 327

the low 300's weren't full at 30 minutes prior to kick for TCU, or any game I tailgated at last year
