This is how OT works. There are two 3 minute overtime periods and they switch sides after the first period. If it's still tied, then sudden death overtime.

USC turnover with 90 seconds left and then they get a turnover on a CU pass
 
Great game ladies. Way to fight hard and win the battle of "new teams with coaches from Northwestern" and hand USC their first conference loss.

Now the game on Sunday ... that will be weird if they end up playing in a significant snowstorm. Any idea what the rules are about weather and postponements?
