CU Women Crush the sheep 73-49...

It's early but let's give Mike Bohn lots of credit for hiring Linda Lappe. She has her team absolutely ready to go and playing FANTASTIC defense. We may have another Ceal on out hands.

I loved how Lappe has been talking about telling the players not to pat themselves on the back because the Big 12 will be tough for them.

Gotta luv it!
An inadvertant rousing endorsement of the new coaching staff by CSU's leading scorer at 20+ppg, junior Kim Mestdagh, who had just been held to 10, with 6 of those coming in the final garbage minutes when the Buffs were playing all 3 of their frosh and both Spears and Chucky were on the bench ..... "we beat basically the same team last year and now we lose by 30".

To bad that talented freshman left the team.

+1. She had the makings of being the perfect replacement for Spears for next season. Unfortunately, from what I have heard elsewhere (fourth or fifth hand at least), she didn't want to do other things to help the team out THIS season.

I'm still enjoying the fact that we beat CSU in football and both basketball teams. They can stick with that volleyball win like anyone cares.
