NAPA, Calif. – University of Colorado junior Esther Lee shot a 4-under par, 68 here in the final round of the Silverado Showdown on Tuesday, leading the Buffaloes to a fourth place finish.
The Buffaloes recorded a 292 or 4-over par in the finale, matching Pepperdine and Ohio State for the best team score of the day, and posted a combined 19-over par, 883 overall score for the event. Colorado was second among the 18-team field in total pars—notching 179 on the 6,206-yard, par 72 Silverado Resort North Course.
Stanford, who led wire-to-wire, finished at 1-over par (865) to win the event by 13 strokes over second-place finisher Oregon. The Ducks, tournament co-hosts with CU, shot 878 as a team. Pepperdine earned the third place spot with an 880 or 16-over par performance, three strokes ahead of the Buffs in fourth while Ohio State rounded out the top five at 21-over par (885).

The Buffaloes leave California and will head straight to Arizona as they are set to compete in the Arizona State Invitational this weekend—April 8-10. Colorado then has a week off to prepare for the Pac-12 Championships, slated for April 18-20 in Pleasanton, Calif.
